Medhu vadai♥️😋

Hey guys. I am back with another super delicious recipe of our traditional South Indian foods! It’s Medhu vadai♥️. Vada is famous all over India but it is ultra special and yummy mostly in South sides. Medhu means soft, fluffy and spongy. So friends let’s see the ingredients required for Medhu vadai🙂


Urad dal – 200gms

Red chilli – 2

Green chillies – 1

Curry leaves – 1 arc

Pepper – 20 beads

Salt according to taste

Pinch of asafeotida

Oil for fry:”)


Soak the dal for two hours. Filter it well and grind it along with red chilli and green chilli and half the arc of curry leaves. Make it grind as suitable for making Vada.

After grinding it, add salt, asafeotida and remaining half of curry leaves and crushed pepper. Mix it well.

Heat the oil simultaneously

Make the Vada and fry it in oil.

Serve hot with coconut chutney♥️😋

Lavaza Lemon Rice♥️

Hey guys! So today here we see the tastiest, and yummiest Lemon Rice, which is most famous and mouth watering dish of South Indians. Actually Lemon Rice is an emotion and love of all Iyers and Iyengars…

So let’s see what are the ingredients needed for this wonderful recipe… ♥️

Lemon – 1

Mustard – 11/2 teaspoon

Red chilli – 3

Green chilli

Turmeric powder – 11/2 teaspoon


Curry leaves

Methi seeds – 1 teaspoon

Urad dal – 1 teaspoon

Channa dal – 1 teaspoon

Rice – 1 1/4 kg


Oil – 4 teaspoon.

So guys these are the very common ingredients which is easily available at home for this quick and easy preparation of Lemon Rice. So let’s see the procedure now☺

Firstly, fry the mustard, red chilli, channa dal , urad dal, and asafeotida in a kadai.

Secondly, add green chilli (cut into small pieces) and curry leaves.

Thirdly, fry the methi seeds separately without oil in kadai and grind it nicely like powder

Cut the lemon, squeeze the juice and add salt.

Put the cooked rice into the plate and let it cool.. The rice should be like fried rice. So kindly put water accordingly while keeping the pressure cooker. Like 2 cup rice, 3 1/2-4 cup of water.

Put all the fried items mentioned above into the rice.

Lastly, add the lemon juice and methi powder.

Serve it hot by garnishing curry leaves toppings. The best side dish for this tastiest recipe would be baby potato fry, or ladies finger sabji.

You can also add groundnuts and dry grapes for extra nourishing and taste😋♥️

Sago Usili ♥️

Sago or sabudhana is a good source of protein, which helps with muscle building, healing and strengthening of bones. Sabudhana is rich in iron and calcium, which helps maintain bone health. We can prevent osteoporosis and other bone conditions by adding a regular dose of tapioca to our diet. It is also responsible for maintaining the bone’s health and flexibility. It’s a source of protein, vitamin K, and metallic nutrients which is essential and important for a baby to grow. 

So guys, Sabudhana is a Healthy and Nutritious diet specially for people who keep fasting in auspicious days. It is actually energy-giving food. So here I am going to give you a quick recipe of Sago Usili. It’s time consuming and a quick and instant dish for all youth’s as well as adults. Here we go:

Take 200 gms of sabudhana and soak in water for four hours. Filter it well and drained. Keep aside in a bowl. 

Ingredients needed:

Cooking oil, mustard, turmeric powder, asafoetida, cashew nuts, jeera, urad dal, chana dal, green chillies, curry leaves, boiled potatoes.


Take a kadai. Put 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. As oil gets heated, add mustard, jeera, urad dal, chana dal, pinch of turmeric powder, pinch of asafeotida, green chillies (4), and curry leaves. Saute it well. Then add 2 boiled potatoes cut into cubes, and add the Sago and one tablespoon of cooking oil. Add salt according to taste. Saute till the sago get boiled and becomes transparent.

Finally, squeeze lemon juice, add grounded powder and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot:”)
